Today’s Defense and International Relations Topics was created in 2012 as an outlet to discuss contemporary defense and IR topics in an unceremonious, informal, and non-academic manner. For the most part, these entries present the author’s position on a number of contemporary issues. Occasionally, a historical event is selected for analysis and discussion. The contents of this blog are the end product of the author’s opinions, beliefs, and research efforts. Today’s DIRT is not sponsored by, or affiliated with any public or private universities, government agencies, NGOs, research institutes or US combatant commands.
